Multifamily Superintendent
Job Summary
Lead on-site construction operations for multifamily residential projects, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery to top quality standards. Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and personnel while driving project success from start to finish. Ideal for proven leaders with strong construction expertise and organizational skills.
Essential Functions
- Supervise all on-site construction activities for multifamily projects from start to completion
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
- Monitor material deliveries and inventory to ensure timely availability
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial/mixed-use construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in construction management software
- OSHA certification
- Experience mitigating risks impacting project timelines or costs
Compensation & Benefits
