Multifamily Superintendent

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Supervise all on-site construction activities for multifamily projects from start to completion
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
• Monitor material deliveries and inventory to ensure timely availability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial/mixed-use construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
• Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in construction management software
• OSHA certification
• Experience mitigating risks impacting project timelines or costs
