Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Join a high-growth healthcare technology startup building a unified platform to streamline complex operations for large-scale healthcare enterprises. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own critical platform modules from design through deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability in a fast-paced, in-person team environment.
Essential Functions
- Design and build platform modules for healthcare operations including scheduling, billing, and reporting
- Own product lines from initial design through build, deployment, and ongoing operation
- Develop and operate AI agents in production with proper guardrails and feedback loops
- Lead infrastructure projects from scoping to rollout to empower non-technical team members
- Design and improve data models, pipelines, and integrations with various third-party systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn custom solutions into scalable, reusable products
- Manage on-call rotations and perform root-cause analysis for production issues
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 10 years of full-time software engineering experience
- Proven experience in backend or systems engineering with a focus on production services
- Demonstrated ability to own a product or module end-to-end
- Experience building and shipping AI agents or LLM-powered workflows
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, AWS, or Cloudflare
- Daily experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code or Codex

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $190,000 - $250,000 per year. Equity options available based on experience.
