Mobile App Engineer

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Architect and build the mobile trading application from the ground up
• Establish a stable, scalable codebase for future mobile engineers to build upon
• Collaborate with founders and front-end teams to ensure consistent design and functionality
• Develop gesture-driven UI and interactive charts for professional trading tools
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams to manage live price feeds and state
• Implement native mobile wallet integrations, biometric authentication, and secure key storage
• Lead the full App Store release cycle, including provisioning and CI/CD pipeline management
• Mentor and lead junior mobile engineers as the team expands

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in iOS development
• Proven track record of taking a mobile app from zero to one and through the App Store release
• Strong coding proficiency in Swift without heavy reliance on AI tools
• Demonstrated passion for trading or active involvement in trading-related projects
• Experience with real-time data streams and WebSocket management
• Ability to work on-site in New York City five days a week
• Strong ownership mentality in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, crypto, or real-time data environments
• Experience at a VC-backed startup
• Strong UI/UX design sensibility and prototyping skills
• Public portfolio or GitHub repository of iOS work
