Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)
Job Summary
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will serve as the critical bridge between complex AI technology and real-world client success. You will own the end-to-end deployment of multi-modal, agentic AI systems, working directly with senior stakeholders to solve high-impact business challenges.
Essential Functions
- Own client deployments end-to-end, from initial scoping through final go-live
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders to build trust and manage relationships
- Design, build, and evolve AI agents using prompt engineering and model integration
- Develop new features to help customers scale while improving results
- Collaborate with client technical teams to integrate products via APIs and internal systems
- Provide actionable product insights to the core platform team to drive roadmap improvements
- Create and maintain internal playbooks to scale the Forward Deployed Engineering function
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Proven experience in a technical role with a focus on client interaction
- Ability to build and deploy systems in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive and agentic mindset with a focus on ownership
- Experience building and shipping production code in a high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at an early-stage, VC-backed startup
- Proficiency in Python
- Technical internships at top-tier technology companies
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $165,000 - $250,000 per year
