Human Resources Manager
Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the full HR function and team at a well-established diamond tool manufacturer. This role serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on employee relations, talent management, compliance, organizational development, and workforce planning while identifying opportunities to strengthen HR processes and overall business performance.
Acting as a trusted partner to managers and employees, the HR Manager drives continuous improvement, leads change initiatives, and ensures HR practices support organizational goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
- Lead and oversee the HR function while providing strategic and operational guidance across all areas of human resources
- Lead, develop, and manage the HR team, including coaching, performance management, and addressing skill gaps
- Partner with executive leadership to identify workforce needs, organizational gaps, and implement practical solutions aligned with business objectives
- Serve as primary advisor to managers and leaders on employee relations, organizational matters, and HR strategy
- Oversee complex employee relations investigations, ensuring thorough, objective, and timely resolution with appropriate documentation
- Evaluate HR practices and business needs to improve efficiency, employee experience, risk management, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead organizational change initiatives and drive continuous improvement across HR and the broader organization
- Coach and advise supervisors on employee lifecycle matters, performance, and leadership development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience considered)
- 10+ years of progressive human resources experience with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, and federal, state, and local employment laws
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, investigations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop an HR team
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to business objectives and translate needs into practical solutions
- Excellent coaching, consultative, and influencing skills with the ability to advise senior leadership
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment on sensitive matters

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Equivalent combination of education and progressive HR experience may be considered. Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range is $120,000 to $132,000 annually depending on experience. Benefits include 100 percent company paid health coverage for the employee, 401k with match, paid holidays, and paid sick days following the introductory period. This is a full time, on site position with standard business hours Monday through Friday.
