Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for our highest-value customers, bridging the gap between complex engineering and client success. You will join a high-caliber team in a fast-scaling environment, owning the full lifecycle from triaging bugs and shipping fixes to building technical rapport and advocating for the customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts to manage inquiries, bug reports, and feature requests
- Rapidly develop and deploy bug fixes and incremental product improvements while embedded with key customers
- Collaborate with the engineering team to master product backend, detection capabilities, and technical constraints
- Lead initial product discovery for new features based on direct customer pain points
- Represent technical capabilities at trade shows and during technical demonstrations
- Work cross-functionally with go-to-market teams to align product improvements with customer needs
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering
- Proven ability to write and ship production-ready code
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles involving problem discovery and solution building
- Ability to work independently and own ambiguous projects from end-to-end
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows and client engagements
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in forward-deployed roles at high-growth startups
- Experience in 0-to-1 product environments or early-stage startup roles
- Background in consulting or investment banking with a strong technical portfolio

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $170,000 - $250,000 per year
