Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join a small, high-caliber engineering team. In this role, you will serve as an architect, planning features, writing specifications, directing AI coding agents, and validating high-quality output while building the core platform for a compute marketplace. This is a startup environment where engineers operate with founder-like ownership, self-direction, and the ability to contribute across backend, frontend, product, and customer-facing needs.
Essential Functions
- Architect and build scalable backend services and frontend features for a compute marketplace, including inventory management, order workflows, RFQs, and invoicing
- Plan and spec out features, then leverage AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while validating quality and correctness
- Extend platform capabilities with KYC/KYB automation, enhanced Slack integrations, live chat, and AI-powered customer support
- Own production reliability by designing, deploying, and maintaining systems end-to-end with a focus on performance and maintainability
- Participate in daily standups, contribute to product discussions, and support across the business as needed, including customer support and ticket resolution
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience as a software engineer
- Back-end heavy experience with the ability to contribute across the full stack
- Proven background building e-commerce or marketplace systems involving inventory, orders, and customer workflows
- Strong architectural skills with the ability to plan features, write specifications, and own systems end-to-end
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with self-direction and ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI coding agents or AI-native development practices
- Background in marketplace or brokerage platforms
- Familiarity with financial workflows such as invoicing or RFQ processes
- Prior startup experience where engineers wear multiple hats

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $200,000–$275,000 plus competitive equity. Compensation may be higher for exceptional candidates with highly relevant experience. Role is full-time and remote, open to candidates in the US, Canada, or LatAm working East Coast hours (core collaboration 11 AM–4 PM EST). Visa transfers are supported.
