Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own enterprise customer relationships end-to-end for our AI memory and identity infrastructure platform. This role spans pre-sales technical demonstrations through post-sales integration and optimization within customer environments. You will serve as the primary technical advocate for sophisticated enterprise users while feeding critical product insights back to our engineering team.
Essential Functions
- Manage full-cycle enterprise deal flow including inbound triage, pipeline progression, and commitment delivery
- Create tailored technical demonstrations, slide decks, one-pagers, and reference integrations for customer verticals
- Embed directly with customers post-sale to audit codebases and implement platform integrations
- Educate enterprise teams on agentic engineering principles and platform capabilities
- Capture customer feedback, technical friction points, and insights to drive product improvements
- Build and maintain reference implementations that accelerate customer adoption
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or equivalent technical customer-facing engineering role
- Proven track record owning end-to-end technical deployments including discovery, implementation, and production rollout
- Strong full-stack development experience with Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs and agentic orchestration frameworks
- Proficiency with SQL databases, REST APIs, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
- High agency with demonstrated success in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- BS in Computer Science, STEM field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience at an early-stage startup (founding engineer or ex-founder)
- Background transitioning from big tech to customer-facing technical roles
- Open source contributions or community leadership in AI/ML ecosystems
- Experience managing complex enterprise integrations and technical sales cycles

Compensation & Benefits
