Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on building AI-native features within EDI and supply chain platforms. You will design and implement high-scale backend systems that modernize legacy processes for hundreds of enterprise customers.
The position offers the chance to work in an AI-first environment where coding agents and intelligent tools are standard, while owning major system architecture from concept to production.
Essential Functions
- Design and build production-grade AI-powered features for EDI workflows
- Own technical architecture and implementation of major system components end-to-end
- Develop and maintain high-scale, data-intensive backend services
- Implement and optimize distributed messaging systems for reliable data exchange
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ship production code using modern AI coding tools and agents
- Contribute to platform modernization efforts that serve enterprise supply chain customers
Required Qualifications
- 5-15 years of backend-heavy, product-minded software engineering experience
- Expert-level proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience building with AI and shipping production work using coding agents
- Strong background with high-scale, data-heavy platforms
- Experience designing distributed systems and messaging architectures
- Proven ability to own technical design of major systems or product areas
- Strong product sense and communication skills
- Eligible to work remotely in the US or Canada, with preference for PST time zone
Preferred Qualifications
- Background at growth-stage companies, ideally Series C or later
- Prior experience with EDI or supply chain technology platforms
- Experience designing or building authentication and authorization systems including SSO, OAuth, and RBAC

Compensation & Benefits
