Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer with 2+ years of experience to own end-to-end AI deployments for Fortune 500 customers in financial services and semiconductors. This high-ownership role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, involving direct embedding with enterprise clients to architect agentic AI solutions, translate complex workflows into platform capabilities, and feed real-world insights back to shape the product roadmap.
As a founding member of the deployment team, you will manage entire customer accounts from executive stakeholders to end users, build custom AI workflows and integrations, and collaborate closely with leadership to scale the function. Essential Functions
- Own entire enterprise customer accounts end-to-end, including strategizing, deploying, and scaling AI agent systems across private equity, investment banking, insurance, tax and audit, and semiconductor firms
- Embed directly with Fortune 500 customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and business challenges, then architect tailored agentic solutions on the platform
- Capture and relay product insights from customer deployments to inform and influence the core platform roadmap
- Collaborate with the founding deployment team and C-suite to define deployment strategies, resource needs, and scaling approaches
- Design and implement custom AI workflows, data integrations, and agent systems that meet specific customer requirements while operating within platform boundaries
Required Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in forward deployed engineering, AI implementation, or applied AI roles at enterprise-facing companies
- Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, AI implementation lead, or on an applied AI team at a company such as Palantir, Scale, Databricks, or within financial services
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agent systems, including agentic workflows, connectors, and skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience building production APIs or data pipelines
- Domain experience in financial services (private equity, investment banking, tax/audit, or insurance) or semiconductors
- Ability to work on-site in New York or San Francisco and travel up to 50% for customer deployments
- Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to quickly learn new business domains and translate problems into technical solutions
- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder (such as through Y Combinator or similar programs) or having built and shipped AI agent systems end-to-end
- Background in both business and technical domains, such as a dual degree combining engineering and business
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and complex enterprise integrations
- Familiarity with tools and platforms like Slack, Google Workspace, or Linear

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000, depending on experience and location. This is a high-ownership role with significant growth potential as part of a founding deployment team.
