Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team as the key bridge between enterprise customers and product development. In this role, you will be embedded with home services operators to build and deploy AI agents that deliver measurable revenue impact while gathering insights to shape platform enhancements.
This customer-facing position combines technical implementation, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive both immediate customer success and long-term product innovation.
Essential Functions
- Building and deploying AI agents for voice, text, and phone interactions with enterprise customers
- Owning end-to-end customer relationships including implementation, onboarding, and ongoing success
- Collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to convert customer feedback into platform improvements
- Managing post-sales implementation and customer success activities to ensure satisfaction and account growth
- Working directly with leadership to influence the product roadmap based on field insights
- Translating complex customer requirements into actionable technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in a customer-facing engineering or forward deployed role
- Shipped production code in customer-facing environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with REST APIs and frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Comfortable presenting to C-level executives and managing high-visibility relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field
- Ability to work on-site in New York City five days per week
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a founder or founding engineer in a 0-to-1 environment
- Background or interest in the home services, construction, or remodeling industries
- Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
- Hands-on experience building AI agents or related technologies

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $170,000 to $230,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Competitive compensation package for the right candidate.
