Job Summary

This Test Engineer role develops and supports test solutions for analog semiconductors using automated test equipment. The position is responsible for hardware and load board implementation along with ongoing production support for semiconductor components.

You will coordinate test program development, manage hardware documentation, perform product characterization, and provide new product test quotes while overseeing development projects from data analysis through test methodology and failure investigation.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates test program development and support using automated test equipment
  • Manages test hardware implementation, documentation, and load board design
  • Manages product characterization, bench analysis, and data review
  • Documents product test requirements including test plans and procedures
  • Provides new product test quotes and cost estimates
  • Plans and oversees new semiconductor component development projects including data analysis, test flow, methodology, reporting, and failure investigation
  • Monitors project status and communicates business issues and developments
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation and assists in Out of Control Action Plan execution
  • Assists production teams with equipment setup and verification

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
  • Background in analog test methodologies and techniques
  • Proficient in C and C++ programming languages
  • High level programming knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work with basic electronic bench equipment including meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators and curve tracers
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel, Word and Access along with ability to learn custom software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • HP83000 ATE experience
  • Previous experience developing test solutions for analog semiconductors
  • Background in semiconductor component development projects

Education & Certifications

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
