CNC Machinist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong programming skills to support growing machining operations. This mill focused role involves taking ownership of programming, setups, process optimization, and running 3, 4, and 5 axis mills along with automation cells to produce high precision parts.
You will drive efficiency in a high mix, low volume environment while maintaining strict quality standards in an AS9100 certified facility.
Essential Functions
- Program, set up, and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills using Mastercam to produce high precision parts
- Leverage automation cells to support lights out machining and optimize fixtures, probing, and tool paths
- Own the full machining process including material selection, tooling, workholding, and in process inspections
- Perform self inspection using GD&T and maintain documentation to AS9100 standards
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices, debug complex features, and maintain workflow
- Operate live tooling lathes as needed to support production demands
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC milling machine experience
- Minimum 2 years of Mastercam programming experience
- Strong understanding of GD&T and precision inspection methods
- Ability to work on site with flexible day shift availability
- Experience working in a quality focused manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AS9100 quality systems
- 1+ years of CNC lathe experience, including live tooling
- Background in high mix, low volume or automation cell operations
- Previous exposure to aerospace or space related component manufacturing

Education & Certifications
Relevant technical training, certifications, or equivalent experience in CNC machining and programming required. AS9100 or aerospace related certifications are highly valued.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly compensation ranges from $35 to $45 depending on experience, with quarterly performance bonuses, overtime paid at time and a half, and flexible scheduling options including 4x10s or 5x8s. Benefits include 401k with 3 percent company contribution, monthly healthcare stipend of $550, 2 weeks PTO from day one increasing to 3 weeks after 3 years, 6 days paid sick leave annually, and 2 weeks paid paternity leave plus Colorado FAMLI options.
