Senior Technical Recruiter
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to serve as the second recruiter at a rapidly scaling Series A AI startup. This role partners directly with the Head of Talent and founders to source, close, and hire senior engineering talent in an intensely competitive market. You will help shape hiring processes, leverage AI tools, and build recruiting infrastructure as the company grows from 29 toward 50 employees.
Essential Functions
- Lead full-cycle technical recruiting including sourcing, pipeline development, and closing senior engineering candidates
- Position the company against top AI labs and high-growth startups to attract elite engineering talent
- Collaborate directly with founders and hiring managers to define hiring needs and build interview processes
- Apply AI tools to automate recruiting workflows and improve overall productivity
- Support development of talent infrastructure, employer brand, and recruiting operations during rapid scaling
Required Qualifications
- 1-8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a high-growth startup, ideally during a hyper-growth phase
- Proven track record closing candidates in competitive markets with strong sales and closing skills
- Active use of AI tools in daily recruiting workflows with an AI-forward approach
- High grit, intelligence, and emotional intelligence with ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with sophisticated engineering candidates
Preferred Qualifications
- In-house recruiting experience at A-tier startups in hyper-growth stages
- Technical recruiting background or strong GTM recruiting experience if more junior
- Graduation from a top 25 ranked US university with flexibility to top 75 for exceptional candidates
- Experience building recruiting processes and infrastructure from the ground up

Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree from a top 25-75 ranked US university required. Top 25 preferred with flexibility for exceptional startup experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $120,000 to $125,000 plus meaningful equity participation. Comprehensive benefits package included.
