Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Job Summary

This 3rd shift Maintenance Technician role supports a high volume manufacturing operation by delivering electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment. The position focuses on minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment improvements while ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards. It offers the opportunity to work on machine modifications, integrate control systems, and apply emerging technologies in a fast paced production environment.

Essential Functions

  • Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance on all production and auxiliary equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to restore it to as built condition with minimal supervision
  • Execute corrective and preventive maintenance work orders according to established schedules
  • Monitor machine operation and assist in developing preventive maintenance programs for new and rebuilt equipment
  • Integrate electrical control systems for new machinery, facility improvements, and process enhancements
  • Participate in the specification, fabrication, installation, and rebuilding of electrical and electronic control systems
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable safety codes including OSHA, National Electric Code, and NFPA standards
  • Service equipment to maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and work instructions

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • OR Associate Degree in Electro Mechanical Technology, Industrial Electronics, or a related technical field
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office applications
  • Commitment to all safe work practices and regulatory compliance

Compensation & Benefits
