Senior/Staff Full Stack Software Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior or Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team in San Francisco. This role focuses on building and scaling a cross-platform desktop application, working across frontend, backend, and native integrations with a strong emphasis on performance and user experience.
You will contribute to LLM-powered features and native development while helping shape technical direction in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
Essential Functions
- Design, build, and maintain core features of an Electron desktop application
- Own end-to-end implementation of user-facing and infrastructure features from UI to native modules
- Develop and integrate LLM-based functionality into the product
- Collaborate on native code development for Windows using C++ and macOS using Swift
- Participate in architectural decisions and help define the technical roadmap
- Deliver high-quality, reliable software with strong attention to performance and user experience
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as a senior or staff level full stack software engineer with backend focus
- Product-oriented experience owning features end-to-end at a high-growth startup or FAANG-level company
- Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered features
- Background working at consumer productivity technology companies
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Swift, and C++
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset with an ownership mentality

- Experience as a founder or early-stage startup team member
- Prior work with Electron framework
- Demonstrated passion for shipping high-quality consumer software products
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong bias for execution in lean environments

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus equity and performance-based incentives. Comprehensive benefits package included.
