Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior or Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team in San Francisco. This role focuses on building and scaling a cross-platform desktop application, working across frontend, backend, and native integrations with a strong emphasis on performance and user experience.

You will contribute to LLM-powered features and native development while helping shape technical direction in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

Essential Functions

  • Design, build, and maintain core features of an Electron desktop application
  • Own end-to-end implementation of user-facing and infrastructure features from UI to native modules
  • Develop and integrate LLM-based functionality into the product
  • Collaborate on native code development for Windows using C++ and macOS using Swift
  • Participate in architectural decisions and help define the technical roadmap
  • Deliver high-quality, reliable software with strong attention to performance and user experience

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as a senior or staff level full stack software engineer with backend focus
  • Product-oriented experience owning features end-to-end at a high-growth startup or FAANG-level company
  • Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered features
  • Background working at consumer productivity technology companies
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Swift, and C++
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset with an ownership mentality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a founder or early-stage startup team member
  • Prior work with Electron framework
  • Demonstrated passion for shipping high-quality consumer software products
  • Detail-oriented approach with a strong bias for execution in lean environments

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus equity and performance-based incentives. Comprehensive benefits package included.
