Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with customers in manufacturing, logistics, and construction industries. This role focuses on mapping complex operational challenges to AI-powered workflow solutions, building and iterating on end-to-end systems that deliver measurable results. You will own outcomes from initial scoping through deployment and adoption while working in a fast-paced, well-funded seed-stage environment.
Essential Functions
- Embed with customers, including approximately 20 percent travel, to deeply understand problems and map them to AI solutions
- Prototype, build, and iterate full-stack workflows using Go, TypeScript, and React
- Develop and manage integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and procurement platforms
- Establish rapid feedback loops with users to drive adoption and demonstrate measurable ROI
- Partner closely with executives and frontline operators to own outcomes from initial discovery through successful rollout
- Translate complex customer needs into practical technical implementations that solve real operational challenges
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer
- Prior customer-facing experience in Big Tech or a fast-growing startup (seed to Series B)
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and implementing AI solutions
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, and React
- Familiarity with enterprise software platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems
- Demonstrated passion for AI with practical experience implementing AI-based solutions for customers
- Comfortable operating with high ownership in a small, dynamic company environment
- Strong ability to quickly understand and translate customer problems into technical solutions
- Computer Science degree from a top 30 program
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a founder of a startup, whether successful or not
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or construction industries
- Experience running production AI workflows at scale
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale deployments

Compensation & Benefits
