Founding PLM Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
This high ownership role leads technical discovery and delivers value driven demos for enterprise PLM deals exceeding 200K ARR. You will own the full technical narrative in sales cycles, shape product positioning as new offerings are built, and collaborate directly with founders to influence the roadmap.
Ideal for a solutions engineer seeking agency, visibility, and real upside in a greenfield market while establishing the SE playbook from the ground up.
Essential Functions
- Lead technical discovery and deliver compelling, value driven demos for enterprise PLM deals
- Own the technical narrative end to end in complex sales cycles, shaping product positioning and messaging
- Define demo environments, technical storytelling, and go to market approaches as new PLM products evolve
- Partner closely with founders and product teams in rapid feedback loops to guide roadmap priorities
- Help secure key enterprise logos in an emerging market while building the solutions engineering playbook
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a PLM Solutions Engineer
- Deep domain expertise in Process PLM with exposure to Discrete PLM as a plus
- PLM systems experience gained at a software vendor, consultancy, or internal manufacturing NPI function
- Hands on experience with at least one major PLM platform such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, Arena, Aras, or Oracle Agile
- Proven track record owning technical discovery, demos, and narrative in enterprise level deals
- Experience managing product data, BOM, or engineering change management workflows
- Background at a startup or scale up solutions engineering organization

- Experience delivering value and story driven demos rather than feature led presentations
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and a strong programmatic mindset
- Demonstrated curiosity, drive, and high standards of excellence
- Ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities with excellent customer facing skills

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranging from 120000 to 200000 depending on experience, with significant upside potential in this founding role.
