Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 5 plus years of experience to own and scale the production of critical components for advanced strike systems. You will drive the transition from prototype to scalable production of thousands of units per year in a 0-to-1 manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

  • Own a critical subsystem or component and drive its manufacturing success by defining processes, building capacity, and increasing reliability and efficiency
  • Develop and scale production processes for complex hardware including composites, solid rocket motors, bonding and epoxy, machined components, or specialty materials processing
  • Transition development-stage manufacturing into production-ready assembly lines capable of delivering thousands of units per year
  • Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs
  • Partner with design engineers to drive DFM decisions and cultivate resources needed to hit production deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 15 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience for complex hardware in aerospace, automotive, or defense
  • Experience building and scaling manufacturing capacity from the ground up, not just sustaining existing production lines
  • Specialty in composites, solid rocket motors, bonding/epoxy, or specialty materials processing such as CVD or heat treating
  • Hands-on hardware fabrication, assembly, or testing experience, not just planning or oversight
  • Experience transitioning development and prototype processes to scaled production of hundreds to thousands of units per year
  • Tooling design, DFM, or process documentation experience including build instructions, test procedures, and mBOMs
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputable university

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at high-velocity hardware companies such as SpaceX, Anduril, Impulse, Tesla, K2, or Relativity
  • Strong bias towards action and ownership of results in previous roles
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time on high-value tasks and own meaningful projects
