Founding AI Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Lead technical discovery and own solution design across the full sales cycle from first call through close
• Build working prototypes and reference integrations using TTS, STT, LLM Router, and Realtime API capabilities
• Contribute technical expertise during forecast calls and key account meetings
• Translate customer requirements into product feedback and roadmap input for the R&D team
• Establish SE function foundations including POC templates, playbooks, and integration documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect
• Hands-on Python coding ability to write production-quality integration code
• Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs including LLMs, TTS/STT speech models, and streaming or realtime APIs
• Startup experience with proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
• Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work several days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building solutions engineering functions from the ground up
• Background selling AI/ML products into gaming, CCaaS, healthcare, or media verticals
• Ex-founder or early operator experience
• Daily hands-on use of LLMs and AI tools to build workflows
• Full-stack engineering familiarity
