Process Engineer
Job Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. This role partners closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Engineering teams to identify process improvements, troubleshoot production issues, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost.
- Develop, implement, and maintain process standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and investigate production issues to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor process performance through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
- Conduct process capability studies and establish process controls.
- Collaborate with Quality to reduce defects and work with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Partner with technical teams to support new formulations, material trials, and product development initiatives.
- Participate in capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and process validation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
- Experience supporting production operations and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and statistical problem-solving techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret production and process data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a continuous manufacturing, composites, fiberglass, polymers, chemicals, or related industrial environment.
- Knowledge of fiberglass, composite materials, resin systems, and manufacturing processes.

Education & Certifications

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range $95,000 to $125,000.
