Service Specialist
Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, suppliers, and internal sales teams by managing orders, shipments, and inquiries. Ensure timely processing of sales orders, proactive inventory management, and adherence to service standards to achieve total customer satisfaction. Serve as a key advocate for customers while supporting team operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
- Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding orders, shipments, product availability, and complaints within established timeframes.
- Process sales orders accurately and timely for assigned accounts following detailed procedures.
- Analyze inventory reports to maintain accurate levels, confirm on-time shipments, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage custom stocking programs, blanket purchase orders, and consignment inventory to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Coordinate freight consolidation to optimize shipping costs in collaboration with sales teams.
- Handle returns, credit/debit memos, and related paperwork promptly.
- Request necessary documentation from departments to ensure orders process within 48 hours.
- Provide backup support to customer service team members as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 annually for qualified candidates, plus comprehensive benefits package.
