Founding Recruiter
Job Summary
Join as the first dedicated recruiter at this early-stage tech startup, partnering directly with founders to build the hiring engine from scratch. You will own full-cycle recruiting for technical, product, and go-to-market roles as the team plans to double headcount next year. This hands-on role shapes the company's talent strategy and candidate experience from day one.
Essential Functions
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical, product, and go-to-market roles
- Screen candidates for skills and cultural alignment as the first point of contact
- Partner directly with founders to define roles and build scalable hiring processes
- Represent the company brand, delivering exceptional candidate experiences from start to finish
- Build out recruiting infrastructure, including applicant tracking systems
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in early-stage tech startups (Seed to Series B)
- Experience recruiting for both technical (engineering) and go-to-market roles
- Proven ability to source, engage, and close passive candidates
- High ownership mentality to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Native-level English fluency with exceptional communication skills
- Positive, high-energy personality and startup mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a full-time, in-house generalist recruiter
- Clear signs of excellence, such as top company or rigorous school background
- Ability to provide performance metrics like hires per quarter
- US-based individual contributor ready for hands-on, end-to-end recruiting

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 based on experience.
