Job Summary

Join a fast-scaling voice AI platform as Lead Quality Engineer and define quality standards across platform capabilities, AI agents, customer configurations, integrations, and release workflows. Partner with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to build proactive, automated testing practices tailored to conversational AI. This hands-on leadership role shapes a modern quality engineering strategy using AI-driven tools to deliver scalable validation and turn insights into stronger products.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as company-wide leader for quality engineering, championing standards and driving execution across teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 5 AI-enabled QA Engineers toward scalable practices.
  • Develop AI-native quality engineering strategy to scale coverage and accelerate validation.
  • Build AI-driven testing workflows for broad, scalable platform validation.
  • Own quality feedback loops from dogfooding, A/B testing, customer feedback, and bug reports.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to enhance testability and acceptance criteria early.
  • Build and improve automation frameworks, validation tooling, and CI/CD quality gates.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of QA, Quality Engineering, or SDET experience with test strategy ownership.
  • Strong technical background with CS degree or equivalent engineering career path.
  • Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple engineering and product teams.
  • Actively uses AI tools in daily workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Built or improved QA tooling, test infrastructure, or CI/CD quality gates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing conversational AI, voice AI, or LLM-powered systems.
  • Background in delivery, professional services, or customer-facing implementations.
  • Leadership potential with ability to work cross-functionally.
