Senior / Staff Product Engineer
Job Summary

As a Senior or Staff Product Engineer, you will own end-to-end product features, from customer discovery to production deployment, shipping code that processes thousands of compliance cases and drives real revenue impact. Essential Functions
- Own substantial product features end-to-end, from customer discovery and requirements gathering through production deployment and iteration.
- Build agentic workflows that coordinate AI tools and data services to automate AML, sanctions, and KYC reviews while keeping humans in the loop.
- Develop intuitive interfaces for case management, reporting, analytics, and workflow configuration for compliance teams.
- Work directly with enterprise compliance customers to understand their needs and translate complex problems into elegant technical solutions.
- Ship reliable, production-grade full-stack code across backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend.
- Build net new product surfaces, scale existing products, and support enterprise implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-8 years of experience in product software engineering, with Python or TypeScript Node.js.
- Building zero-to-one products used by real customers.
- Experience at a talent-dense high-growth startup.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript Node.js for backend development.
- Experience building APIs and working with databases.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks.
- Strong product thinking and customer interaction skills.
- Strong educational pedigree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Fintech and compliance experience.
- Full-stack engineering experience over pure front-end or theoretical research roles.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range of $185,000 - $213,000 based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package for a direct hire role.
